GQS, a leading provider of technical, quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) services to the worldwide energy sector has started the new decade on a strong note after winning a major multi-year contract with Premier Oil.
The contract won following a competitive tender process, will see the UK division of GQS provide a full range of Third Party QA & QC services to Premier Oil’s on and offshore assets across the world.
It includes the provision of QA/QC personnel, expediting and equipment, inspection and support services.
This first significant contract win of 2020 follows on from a year which saw GQS undergo a major rebrand, a move to new office premises in Aberdeen and adding additional staff to the team in anticipation of company growth.
GQS UK Managing Director Andy Weir praised the hard work and dedication of the team and said the contract was awarded based on the company’s reputation, its proven past performance, timely delivery of services and the comprehensive range of services it provides to clients.
